Apprentice-Speed-Dating (Lehrlings-Speed-Dating)

On 20 October our students had the chance to promote themselves at the apprentice-speed-dating in the Stadtwerke-Hartberg-Halle.

They used the event to get in touch with representatives of more than 50 companies, such as those of Haas Fertigbau GmbH, Prolactal GmbH or Rogner Bad Blumau, and talked to them about their ambitions for the future.

Although it had been planned that our students would speak to only four to five companies within scheduled time slots, they volunteered for getting in contact with many more. One of our students even made it his goal to talk to every company representative in the room. This dedication and curiosity impressed the organizers of the event, and they praised the participants of PTS Friedberg.

All in all, the apprentice-speed-dating was a complete success. Our young future apprentices discovered a wide range of possible jobs they could do, and they realized that our region is full of great companies and opportunities.

We would like to thank Toni and Petra Ferk for organizing one of the highlights of the school year, and we are already looking forward to the next apprentice-speed-dating.
